DOSBox is an emulator program which emulates an IBM PC compatible computer running a DOS operating system. Many IBM PC compatible graphics and sound cards are also emulated.

C64 Emulator is a very old, very crude Commodore 64 implementation.  It looks like the code is from back in 1989 which is probably why it requires a DOS PC with a Hercules graphics card.  Check out the ENGLISH.TXT text file inside the archive for more information.
